With all of the uncertainties in the world right now, it’s easy to forgot that tropical storms of any magnitude can bring with them a lot of damage to your home.
It’s time to pick up your yard and trim your trees. Protect your home from unnecessary debris in high winds.
Make sure you have your food and survival supplies in order. Extra water, propane and gasoline. Start eating your frozen foods and keep water bottles in your freezer.
Don’t forgot to keep all of your important documents together in a water proof storage container. Deeds, titles, taxes, receipts, warranties, insurance paperwork, will and final wishes documents, passports, birth certificates and anything else of record value. Have an inventory list and photos of equipment and appliances for insurance purposes as well.
Also have a cash stash! Power and internet goes down in storms and credit/debit cards are of no use at times.
